its time for sprite a day again. literally. that's what i'm calling it. sprite a day: again.

its an incredibly simple concept: 31 days, 31 flashes each set to a different topic, each using sprites as your main source of animation visuals. if you need a form of reference, here's last year's results: the playlist

if you want in to this huge mess and/or extravaganza, just message this account and be prepared with the following:

flash 8/flash cs3/flash cs4 (NO OTHER FLASH VERSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED)

an understanding of animation basics

skype; ready to both send and recieve files for the production

and

a sense of humor

if you have these things, for better or for worse, i really hope you have the time to contribute something to this huge endeavor.

now to the technical aspects for you who are really interested in joining!

stage aspect ratio: 500w x 300h (stage color doesn't necessarily matter if you use backgrounds, and i will make any final adjustments you require)
fps: 24
legnth required for every entry: anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 minutes. there's not much limitation here
vcam: please use this one provided if you choose to use one

you will receive the daily schedule as soon as you message me, and if you have any questions at all about the contents, do not be afraid to ask. i will answer. also, if you feel like you dont want to contribute to the entire project DONT WORRY! you can work selectively and drop out at any time. the only person who is committed to this project is myself, so do this at your own pace.

yeah, my most successful flash i have ever produced. the entire point was to show my love for her and she walked off for some kid she met on the internet a week before we broke up a 2 year relationship. i'm just here to say that i am the white dragon.

oh and i couldn't finish tall in time, so now its entirely unscheduled. i am still working on it, but making every aspect of the flash from audio to writing to animation, its really getting tough.

oh, and the big new flash will be for valentines instead of courtney's birthday. she said she really didn't need it for her, so i decided to move its upload date to the 14th, so be looking forward to "tall". ;)

in other news, people seem to get so upset when i write long-winded honest reviews. 3 little kids pm me to call me a faggot or something to that effect because i said that a flash by someone they don't actually know was not good in my opinion for actual reasons. i'm not really sure what was so horrible about telling someone "you're better than that". but i would like a little consensus here about the general newgrounds audience we have.
