[Urinal Buddies]

it was well-animated, yeah, but the comedy was a tad too awkwardly timed. you should focus on the timing and the delivery a little better. the characters move very rigid and all, but i can chalk that up to style and ignore it. i still think you could have made this joke work far better had something entirely unexpected happen than a "oh look he's drinking piss" thing. for example, have the character react with "fucking lord my piss tastes like piss!". it is a complete irony and entirely unexpected based on the content presented, and it would have been quite a lot funnier imo.

but all things considered, you did a good job =)

Thanks. Yeah the kindd of humor that went into this isn't for everyone, it's pretty childish and stupid. Knowing that, I didn't want to make this minute long animation where the only payoff is this one joke at the end. That's why I kinda sprinkled some small jokes in here and there during the whole thing to make it a little more worthwhile. It seems to have done the job for some, but obviously not everyone's into that and I get that. All I'm saying is, don't think of the last joke as the main punchline, more like another punchline in a small string of punchlines. I don't know. Anyway thanks for the review!

that was awful. i would suggest actually working on something with substance that is cohesive and makes sense. you see, humor is based on understanding a concept or situation and finding a pathway that you weren't expecting. this can be done to such an extent that morons will call it "random" but regardless it should be attempted. try writing ideas down and making it apparent to the audience what the joke is and what story/concept the visuals are trying to say. a confused audience is the last thing you want as an animator.

1/2 star for the interesting use of compressed video backgrounds, which i'm not sure is an artistic choice or laziness.

oh zack attack... i love you man but this was too much yelling. just saying people are stupid and showing it are 2 different things, and you dont show it when its the media of SHOWING things.

i mean, you animate fast and you do a great job at it but.... man you do not need to yell to enforce a point or a joke. yelling doesn't make the joke any more funny and its annoying, thus making the joke less funny and enjoyable.

anyway, good job with the animation, but my god you're funnier than this shows you are.

godzilla was my favorite actor in the film. this film thrilled and chilled me and i'm going to have to say the oscars are going to have a run for their money.

i'm going to give it 5 bags of popcorn but the microwavable bags of popcorn because its best when watched at home and its not really worth going to the theater to see it in the theater.
