took so fucking long, but its finally out and in the public. we all did great, and every one of us showed such artistic talent in such a constricted timeframe, and not one of us slacked (ok, mark did, but i digress lol).
this was ridiculously fun to make, and i hope we can do this again one day =D

i still highly question your integrity jonbro. nothing about this ripoff of half life: full life consequences is even slightly impressive to me. the animation is subpar, the pacing is odd, the plot, characters, premise, "satire", the bland voice acting, and visual design are all completely unoriginal. you are definitely more capable than shameless game parodyship, thats why this is so dissappointing.
i hope this review clears up what i'm trying to get across to you. please dont be guilty for what jason, khawner, and i were guilty of all those years ago. do something that takes actual creative effort, because i know you have the talent to present it.
This is a question of integrity? Is originality the only thing that makes a movie good? Is every project a person works on suddenly crap because that person set some high standards?
This movie wasn't meant to be a masterpiece, but it still took time and planning to make, and it still WAS a legitimate creative effort because of the liberties it allowed. Maybe if your little Sprite-A-Day group put some real time, planning, and effort into their movies before they released them onto this site, they wouldn't have caused such hate-filled controversy.

though alot of cliche "intense wide angle" shots you created seemed unnecessary, and the trumpet was completely flat through the entire song. you might say it created a bit of noir sadness, like the trumpeteer wasn't even happy enough to tune up, but no. thats a basic recording issue thats simply glaring all throughout.
this of course doesn't make it bad by any means, but it does leave it far from perfect. i liked the visual style, the silhouettes, the motion, and the effort highlighting certain objects.

Thanks for reviewing, yeah the trumpet is very flat. I was only playing the trumpet for 2 or 3 months when I was recording this, but looking back and seeing lots of things that I could improve now easily only confirms that improvement has been made :)

terrible audio design
the audio just cuts out at the worst possible moments, the song choice adds nothing to the tone they are meaning to set, the voice acting was annoying to say the least, and everything seemed like either a straight rip off or dumb parody of everything that newgrounds has parodied before.
this flash has 2 pros i can mention:
1: it is a hefty flash, that has an "ok" ending"
2. it showed effort in making custom sprites.
but when the writing is that bad, the audio that uncontrolled, and general ugliness really leave little to be liked.
there is just not much i can say thats good about this besides the fact that you had the patience to copy and paste all those sprites.
good luck with your "pus tan" or whatever your doing, because it better be a hell of a lot better than this.
I learned alot from this flash, I'll keep what you said in mind for my next one. As for "Pus Tan" I have no idea what you are saying, and if it doesn't meet your standards, I don't feel any loss either.

the writing is ok, and i sort of liked the premise, but god the VA was.... just.... ear aids.
