its horrible art and classic gameplay with a few medals.
good job making it playable and fun, but i suggest getting a better menu and text-style.
possibly put some button backgrounds next time too ;)

ok i really enjoyed the idea, but GOD DAMN THE RNG.
ok, i had a weapon with 1 miss rate out of 8 and it missed 70% of the time.
seriously, either i magically hit the button exactly on time to miss (which i wasn't) or there is something up with the frame timing on the RNG pushing the selector to hit the 0 damage option more often than it should.
it really pisses me off when i put a solid effort to play a game and the luck factor kills me off for no apparent reason. its just lottery death.
great art style, horrible audio effects, HORRIBLE rng that fails more than succeeds, and high replay value if you get hooked on the lottery.
PS: DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT TOOK TO SET UP A DUNGEON EACH TIME BETWEEN FLOORS? IT KEPT FAILING TO MAKE A USABLE DUNGEON OVER AND OVER FOR MINUTES ON END BECAUSE THERE IS NO FAILSAFE CODE.
sorry, the laziness of the RNG just... its pissing me off the more i think about it.
Ha ha, you do realize that YOU are the RNG in this... I swear it's not rigged!
too much nostalgia and love for creative thinkers and artists 7.8/10
the unbeatable boss troll is sneasel. omg i love you guys.
wow. this one is ridiculously addictive. i love how this feels like a nice middle finger to flappy bird by adopting its click to move mechanics in a very VERY fun and creative way.
absolutely wonderful game <3
ok, i enjoyed this thing quite a bit. pun intended. quite intended.
anyway, the graphical design is quite good, the mechanics work (albiet a bit shallow FUCK I DID IT AGAIN), and it has solid challenge for people unaware of the 2 ways you can generally play the game.
this game gets a solid 9/10 good time with a simple strategy game.
ok now for the strategy portion
there are 2 ways to flow your battle: brute force fighting or push dominance.
your magicians WILL be brutes, your spearmen WILL be pushers, and its up to you to decide which you will use the soldiers as.
brutes are damage dealers. they rip through enemies at a steady pace and generally only have to worry about personal defense, seeing how they are moving up the battlefield slowly. its reccommended that you spawn lots in 1 area at a time and use their special attack all together to cause a hole in the enemies.
pushers do what they say they do. they push. oh lord they push. this is another way to take out enemies fast; blast them off the battlefield. the best way to use these is spawn a general spread at a steady rhythm and toss a bomb to push off the first wave of enemies. then spawn a second spread and use their special to run down the field fast, combining push power and wrecking through the attempting spawning enemies. the pushers are mechanically the most direct and powerful fighters, but without the right method, they are frail and risky. use these when you've got the rhythm of play down.
your welcome everyone. =)
wow. this was like peggle but with a japanese flare that felt very genuine. this is such a beautifully executed game, both in mechanics and in artstyle, and i enjoyed every second of it. the game is short, but for what i got, i entirely loved it.
great work guys.
its less stubbornness and more curiosity for me. i felt curious to know what you had done for the ending, and it was rather dull and predictable. "you're a stubborn fuck for playing this game!" well... why would you make a game (a game that entails it exists to be played in order to have a sense of victory within) with the goal being to convince the audience that it itself is pointless? why wouldn't you focus the point instead of weirdly tossing it in when it had nothing to do with the setting? this game felt like a cynical waste of space without a reason to be cynical.
anyway, the game controlled fine, it was a tad easy, and it tried to say something like its never been said before even though its been said a billion times.
eh
why did she have to die? they were so good together.... you really wrote the story and characters extremely well for this...
a masterpiece of art
