for the future:
lighten up with the high hat slammin, mod your volumes as you play, and feel organic with the music.
Thank you very much for your honesty. The hats were actually something I was worried about a little bit, but then most of my instrument selections were for bass, so I felt like I needed some sort of a treble percussion. But there were so many selections of hats, some of them were so iffy. I totally forgot how wide of a selection this program had. I can even make my own from scratch. I forgot how difficult that was.
Believe me, this was a blast to the past for me too, in more than one way
my god. the string of original insults are impressive. good work cassidy!
An endless chain of fury, each link, a memory.
until you have 5 stars you will never be a person ;D
I love you too.
too many unsure bends
the atmosphere around it is nice, and it mixes dance with a nice ancient japanese vibe, much like an okami temple, but... the bends in the lead instrument is offputting... and being the star lead in the song is a sort of poor choice.
the general chord progression is nice, and i really like the atmosphere as i said earlier, but its at its best without percussion. its something that this song didn't need.
overall, nice submission with interesting design choices
Hello! Thank you for the review!
"the bends in the lead instrument is offputting... and being the star lead in the song is a sort of poor choice."
Why is it a poor choice? I had mainly been using it as a guitar sound, using the bends as a way to make it sound more realistic, as if someone were actually changing the note in real time. If someone were actually going to play a guitar, it would have slight pitch bends in it from natural playing, which is what I tried to somewhat mimic.
"but its at its best without percussion. its something that this song didn't need."
I'd have to disagree there. I personally like the percussion, it made the mood be more lively. I will take into consideration the possibility of taking out percussion, and might upload a version without the percussion so people can make comparisons. I may also try making a song without any percussion whatsoever.
Thanks for the review again!
