lullabies is just soo odd and crazy that it sucks you in and makes you addicted, and songs for the deaf has grohl and some of thier best tracks ever made.
lets take a song for example
monsters in the parasol vs. songs for the deaf
lightning song vs. the blood is love
each have unmistakable qualities, but the more recent of the vs list leave a lasting and changing impression, rather than keep a synth rythm and a basic chord scheme for the whole song.
