what happenned to this review show? its so bland and it feels unfinished in the voice sync areas of visual animation.

the review captured nothing about why the show's theme and idea is clashing with the universe it tries to take place in. the established lore of batman cannot be this silly again at this point in time with all the adaptations out WITHOUT acknowledging that this takes place in a different universe or is a direct homage in tone and style to the old batman series. it does not. it just thinks it can take these characters and turn it into another "my life as a teenage robot". there's one or two jokes per show that sort of hit, but its verrrryy few and far between for anyone who isn't 6. i think that the original teen titans had an animation style that allowed for serious drama as well as some comedic levity perfectly. it was funny as it was and it kept the audience engaged throughout. i dont see anybody getting teary eyed over terra in this pile of marketeered bullshit.
